Owner Comments:
Very nice Victoria shilling with die number with mostly darker gray-gold patina. Die number (2) is located on reverse just above date. Wear appears to be commensurate with grade. Cost: $105.48 on 5/11/14 on eBay from Paul Knudson (suncoin).
Mintage: 3,611,000 (includes both varieties). Variety with die number is the rarer variety, particularly in higher grades.
KM #734.2. Composition: 92.5% silver. Weight: 5.6552 grams.
Obverse: Young Victoria, head left. Reverse: Crown above denomination within wreath.
