Near PERFECT PF 69 Ultra Cameo 1972 S Silver Eisenhower (Ike) Dollar in an old NGC holder. This coin is deeply reflective with a nice sharp strike. The San Francisco mint produced just over 1.8 million of these silver proof coins in 1972. Frank Gasparro designed this coin: 38.1 mm diameter; weight 24.59 grams; compoition, outer layer of .800 silver, .200 copper bonded to an inner core of .209 silver, .791 copper (net weight .3161 oz of pure silver).
