Owner Comments:
A tough coin to find in MS65 given many coins have issues due to striking problems associated with the low relief design. Add in the fact that many "Gems" are NOT all that "Gemmy," and that many of the 65's and 66's out there are dogs awaiting the kennel of some unfortunate collector or investor. This Sesqui defies that notion with superior surfaces that are sleek and amazingly clean. A surprisingly strong luster shows off moderate original colors of golden brown/pale lime/reddish gold that swirl all over. ALL of the details are extra sharply struck and stand out eliminating the softness on many of these. Superb eye appeal.
Population: PCGS:296 in 65, 4 in 65+, 8 in 66. NGC: 277 in 65, 9 in 65+, 12 in 66. CAC: 57 in 65, 4 in 66. (10/13)
