Obverse design: Don Everhart designed and sculpted the portrait of Millard Fillmore that is featured on the obverse. It also includes the inscriptions "MILLARD FILLMORE," "IN GOD WE TRUST," "13TH PRESIDENT" and "1850-1853."
Reverse design: An image of the Statue of Liberty, also designed and sculpted by Don Everhart, is featured on the reverse of all Presidential coins along with the inscriptions "$1" and "UNITED STATES OF AMERICA."
Marking the thirteenth coin in a series that started in 2007 is the 2010 Millard Fillmore Presidential $1 Coin.
The Fillmore coins were released into circulation by the U.S. Mint on February 18, 2010. They feature the same specifications as previous Presidential Dollars as well as the Native American Dollars.
Fillmore had the honor of being the thirteenth President of the United States, and the duty of assuming that office while after Zachary Taylor passed away. He was only the second person in history to assume the job as Chief Executive
