Abigail Adams: The obverse, designed and sculpted by United States Mint Sculptor-Engraver Joseph Menna, was inspired by the Abigail Adams portrait by Gilbert Stuart. The reverse, designed by Thomas Cleveland, United States Mint Artistic Infusion Program Master Designer and sculpted by Phebe Hemphill, United States Mint Sculptor-Engraver, features Abigail Adams writing the famous words, "Remember the Ladies" to her husband when he was in the Second Continental Congress drafting the Declaration of Independence.Mintage: 17,661. NGC has graded 5,625 with 3,715 as MS70.
