Another bounty from Dan and Kathleen at Pinnacle. Here what Heritage wrote the last time it was auctioned Ex: JFS Collection. Walter Breen’s cryptic musings about Confederate symbolism notwithstanding, the Arkansas half presents itself as a straightforward, if uninspired celebration of that state centennial. A rich coating of dappled olive, russet, and crimson patina blankets the obverse, while the reverse remains essentially untoned. A seemingly pristine example of this low-mintage issue, tied for the finest certified by either NGC or PCGS.
