Owner Comments:
This wonderful coin has a terrific heritage. At one time it rested in the Richard Jewell collection before finding a home in the Chippewa registry. Imagine this was his second best Bay Bridge. Another doft of the cap to Dan and Kathleen at Pinnacle for facilitating this great addition to my collection.
Pinnacle's description "An exquisite Bay Bridge with graceful, flowing mint frost that is entirely uninterrupted and pristine. Only a couple of tiny reedmarks are present on the grizzly's lower leg, flaws which are minimized by this coins choice pastel colors. It is pale lilac and pink on obverse, surrounded by a gold rim. The reverse shows a pleasing medley of soft forest green with amber peripheries, a somewhat characteristic color combination on the finest examples of this issue. NGC has graded just seven examples at this level, while PCGS has graded eight."
