Purchased on eBay on 2/23/2011. This is a pristine example of the Westward Journey nickel series, featuring the bison on the reverse. This is a two year series from 2004-2005 featuring four different designs, before the Jefferson Nickel returned in 2006 to the Monticello reverse with a modified Jefferson bust on the obverse.
NOTE: PCGS considers the 2006 issue ("Return to Monticello") as a part of the Westward Journey series as a 3-year series; however, NGC has only included the four designs from 2004 and 2005.
