Julia Tyler: The obverse, designed by Joel Iskowitz and sculpted by Don Everhart, features a portrait of Julia Tyler. She was the First Lady from 1844 to 1845 during the Presidency of her husband John Tyler. She was his second wife, following the death of his first wife Letitia Tyler.
The reverse, designed by Joel Iskowitz and sculpted by Don Everhart, features Julia Tyler dancing with her husband John Tyler at a White House Ball. She had introduced the polka at a White House event, causing the dance to have widespread national popularity.
