from OBW acquired on EBay in 2010. Conserved for carbon spotting and splashes of blue toning in 2010. There remains a blue spot in the field opposite the portrait, and there also remains blue splashes on the 'N' in UNITED and adjacent pillars.

My photos really bring out the numerous hairline scratches on both sides, but to the naked eye (and even under magnification), this coin looks much better than MS 65.

Because of superior eye appeal, this coin will remain NFS for years to come. Conservation didn't solve everything, but it definitely elevated a pretty clean but splotchy coin to superior eye appeal status.
