This is a coin from a transitional year. The obverse is Style of 1845-1882 with the "Full J" in assayer's initials. The reverse is Style of 1882-1886. This "Mule" is "Rare.." per Dunigan and Parker. Uncirculated examples are "scarce and seldom choice".
