O.102a R1. The XXX edge variety is very scarce in high grade and is highly sought after by Redbook collectors. The experimental XXX edge is only present on some coins within four die varieties of Capped Bust Half Dollars (O.101,O.102, O.108, and O.110). Obtained from Stacks Auction of "Treasures from New York"on 7/30/2009, Lot 535.
