O.112 R2. Dash Date. Eliasberg. Finest Known. Eliasberg. Finest known. "Another rattractive capped Bust half dollar. Satiny ivory lustre with orange and blue iridescence. Slight weakness is seen in the lower obverse border, the higher hair waves, and the olive branch, all as typical. A few minor marks are noted. Pedegree: George H. earle Collection, Henry Chapman, June 25-29, 1912; John J. Clapp, Clapp estate, 1942 to Louis E. Eliasberg, Sr. Die notes: Perfect dies. Edge: OR HALF are partly obscured by edge reeds," as described by Bowers and Merena cataloger of "The Louis E. Elaisberg, Sr. Collection" on April 7, 1997, Lot 1878.
