This coin is struck over, counterstruck, on another 8 Reales - see obverse just above portrait. Krause states that a some of these coins were struck over cast Chihuahua Minted 8 Reales. Very Rare! Only 1821 graded so far, and finest of all Durango minted coins at present (March 1, 2013.)
