Because of the low mintage (1,728,000) and poorly struck coins, high quality coins are difficult to find. Most coins have a lot of bag marks, making this coin one of the poorer issues of the series.
Rarity Ranking at MS63 is 4/24 - Due to falling demand for silver dollars, the Denver Mint did not produce any Peace dollars in 1924. Additionally, the mintage of dollars at the San Francisco Mint fell to just over 1.7 million pieces. Many seem to have been lost to time, as this date is extremely rare in the gem
