Margaret was born in the year 1788. Margaret first met a Zachary Taylor in 1809.

Zachary would become a national hero for his military feats, especially during the Mexican-American War. With this new-found fame, Zachary would then be thrust into the political realm.

Zachary was nominated in 1848.
