Owner Comments:

This is another of those 50s coins which have almost prooflike qualities to the obverse, so much so in this case that I believe it lowered the grade by 1 point. It appears to have a planchet fault at the top of Jeffersons head just under the hairline that gives an almost unfinished look to the coin and yet under magnification there is no flaw. It appears as a very bright area when you turn the coin. Odd but pretty. The steps are a solid 5555.
