Owner Comments:
Superb First Spouse series bronze medal of Lucy Hayes (wife of Rutherford B. Hayes). Medal is well struck with lots of luster. Mostly bright copper red with a few areas showing some very light tarnish. Only other detractions are a few light scratches commensurate with MS67+/MS68 grade. Cost: $12.76 on 11/28/11 on eBay from Chip McCartney (coinfame). Note: Image is stock photo provided by seller of equivalent medal with same design and grade. Certification number of medal in photo is off of actual medal by only six digits.
