I actually love my NGC MS 67, but couldn't pass up this PCGS coin at a bargain price with a population of 9. Here's Heritage description: Following a substantial mintage of 1946 Booker T. Washington half dollars, the series continued on for five more years with low mintage issues each year from the three operating mints at the time. Just 8,005 examples were produced at each mint in 1948, for example. This Superb Gem, one of the finest of its kind, has frosty silver luster and bold design definition with splashes of iridescent toning. Population: 8 in 67, 0 finer (9/11).
