O.101 R2. Potentially tied for the finest known or just barely in second place for this very tough overdate. The coin has lovely eye "A" appeal with a grey dirt look but complete cartwheel luster. Obtained by private treaty from the legendary Dale Friend. Dale has educated and coached me in the development of my high grade Capped Bust Half Dollar set. Dale kept his MS63 with amazing luster, originality and color (see his NGC set). He has a remarkable eye and consistently buys great coins a great values.
