Very Nice Superb GEM MS 67 1943 D FB Winged Liberty Head "Mercury" Dime in an old NGC holder. This coin is silky white with Full Split Bands (FB) and a nice sharp strike. The Denver mint produced just under 72 Million dimes in 1943. This dime has the desired FB designator and the composition is .900 silver and .100 copper with an overall weight of 2.50 grams. Most of these coins graded to date by NGC are at the GEM (MS 66) level or below.
