Catorce issued Eight Reales only in 1863 and the coins are scarce expecially a nicely struck Almost Uncirculated example. This coin came from Richard A Long Auction #90 (July, 2001) where it was described as "legendary, one-year type and extremely popular Mexican rarity. Top XF-AU..subdued steel-grey luster, would undoubtedly rate an AU grade from the services, if submitted." It did.
