Owner Comments:

A monster toned Washington Carver with the obverse bathed in a wonderful array of circular concentric shades of mauve, purple and emerald green. The lustrous surfaces make the colors pop off the coin. The lustrous reverse is wonderfully toned in a lighter colored mix of orange, rose, emerald/lime green and pale blue. Very few marks overall. A spectacularly original coin and certainly among the nicest for the date. CAC agrees as this is 1 of only 20 coins certified with only one higher.

Population: NGC: 32 (includes 4 in * & 1 in +), 3 in 67. PCGS 55 in MS66 (includes 3 in 66+), 1 in 67. CAC 20 in 66, 1 in 67. (10-12)
