As of 2004, the Roosevelt Dime is became the oldest circulating coin without ever has a facelift. First minted in 1946 soon after the death of President Franklin Roosevelt, the composite was changed from silver to nowadays 8.33% nickel and 91.67% of copper. The observe features the left-facing profile of the late President Roosevelt. The reverse is crowed with a torch, a olive branch, and an oak branch to represent liberty, peace, strenght and independence. The dime is also the smallest circulating coin with a diameter of 0.705 inches. This 2008S Clad Roosevelt Dime was purchased in December 2008 to complete the PR70s of this set. The coin was so perfect and was granted as PF70UC from NGC.
