1881-cc ms65DPL - This is a lower mintage date, with only 147,485 included in the GSA Hoard (total mintage at Carson City for this date was a low 296,000). This is one of my favorite dates to collect, as there are many high quality coins for this date. 180 have been graded ms66, and 14 graded ms67. There are only 12 graded ms65DPL, so these are hard to find, and pricey.
I bought this one privately from a dealer in Nevada about 3 years ago. One of my favorites, it is very frosty and has a brilliant cameo. This ms65DPL earned 2,233 points in the registry, but deserves much more.
