Owner Comments:

Mintage: 140,000

Two obverse dies and one reverse die employed for 1867 San Francisco coinage. Therefore, all 1867 San Francisco dime come with a strong mintmark, even in the lower circulated grades. Variety 101 is typically found with weakness at Liberty's head and on the bow knot. Well struck examples of Variety 102 can be located.

Plate Coin: Fortin 101, Ahwash 1, Medium Gold Toning
