Of all the Peace dollars struck in San Francisco, this issue is probably the most weakly struck. The weakness of strike is most noticeable in the lack of hair detail over Liberty's hair. Gems in MS65 are VERY rare and extremely expensive. There are plentiful coins with good luster and few marks, but weakness of strike keeps them out of the MS65 range.



This coin is bright white and lustrous with few marks, but has the typical weak strike.
