How often do we land a sensational coin, and then feel inclined to think how it might be better? This is a fabulous coin with superb striking details in many key areas. Yet I'm left wondering if the coin couldn't have pulled an even higher grade if it weren't for the disruption high on the buffalo's back, and a certain lack of smoothness to the surfaces. With that, I'm very pleased with this example, am proud to own it, and doubt it will leave my collection any time soon.
