Owner Comments:

Colorful album toning rings the devices with a rainbow of color and reflective fields to give this coin a great look. The obverse shows a die crack from the base of the 1 to the 8 and from the 8 to the 6. A coin with a cameo look on both the obverse and reverse. Until the 60's the only mintage figures known was for the Proof version of this coin. The current mintage is still a miniscule 12,000 pieces. Many of which were reportly melted.
