Owner Comments:

I must admit that I purchased this coin at a coin show in May 2021 solely to fill registry type set slots. It is probably better than the nice uncirculated specimen that I have had in my album since the 1980s or earlier, but that one probably only cost a dollar or two. This one is housed in an original PCGS "rattler" holder dating from 1986-89 and doesn't appear to have deteriorated at all during that time. It is somewhat remarkable that there are pristine specimens of these coins, considering the corrosion prone nature of both the zinc plating and the low grade steel core.
