Owner Comments:

With a mintage of just 657,000 the 1888 S Morgan is fairly scarce in Mint State. Why I selected this coin: as a lower mint state coin, selected for budgetary reasons, the weaknesses are muted luster from some toning and there are some contact marks, but overall, the surfaces are pretty good for the grade, the strike is excellent, and the toning gives the coin a wonderfully original antique look that gives it very nice eye appeal for the grade.
