Owner Comments:

The 1880 CC with rev. of 78 is several times scarcer than the rev. of 79 version. This coin is a VAM 4 with 1880/79. With approximately 125,000 of this type minted this is a tougher issue. Why I selected this coin: this coin is blast white with very nice frosty luster, and a sharp strike. It does have just enough contact marks to prevent gem status, but none that I find distracting, and the coin has very nice overall eye appeal.
