Description: This coin has some streaky wood grain toning on the reverse, an abundance of marks on both sides, and muted luster from obvious evidence of circulation. It isn't the prettiest coin in the set, but for this issue, beggars can't be choosers.
Comments: In order to differentiate this coin from the Greenland 1 Krone which is a similar size, they punched a hole through the center in New York about 1940/41. Almost all of these holed coins ended up in circulation, and finding a mint state example is exceedingly difficult. Currently (11/2021), NGC has only graded 9 mint state examples with the top grade being an MS66+.
