Owner Comments:

In the United States in 1830/ The U.S. mint creates one very rare die variety , later to be known as the 1830 Large letter. This variety is a combination of an 1830 obverse and an 1828 reverse, and will also be known to Bust Half Collectors as the Overton 114. In addition to large and small O’S in the 1830 date Al Overton also listed O-119 in his book as a Medium O. This coin is often mistaken or misattributed by collectors as a small O.
