Owner Comments:
Ex: Eugene Gardner/Eliasberg. Rose-gold surfaces show scattered areas of iridescent patina nearer the peripheries. Scarcely any wear appears on the reverse, which on its own might garner a finer grade, given its sharp strike and excellent preservation. The obverse die is rusted, giving the appearance of more wear or rub than is actually present. A few small ticks show in the right obverse field and on Liberty's left (facing) arm. Nicely struck. Golden toning with some splashes of iridescence. Very elusive at all high-grade levels. Die notes: Probably Briggs Obverse 2. Reverse B. Early state of the dies. No cracks evident.
