POINTED 9 VARIETY!
This is the only 'variety' coin in the Boyhood Dream Collection. If you look at the bottom of the number 9 in the date, you'll see the bottom leg of the 9 is pointed...versus flat. While the flat 9 variety of the 1964 dime is rarer - only 32 1964 pointed 9 dimes have ever been graded Proof 69* by NGC. NGC reserves the 'Star' designation for coins with superior eye appeal for their grade. PCGS does not use a * designation in their grading.
