Owner Comments:

A very original, attractive for the grade specimen from the "Sutton Court Collection" auctioned in 2018. O-120(a), better die variety. Photos courtesy of Stacks Bowers Galleries.

I have an 1805 from the famous John Jay Pittman Collection that NGC graded VF 35, but due to the CAC sticker and because NGC allocates the same number of points to coins in all VF grades, it would be worth somewhat fewer points in type sets. To view the 1805, see "Sandon's Certified Bust Half Dollars", under the category "Early Half Dollars, 1794-1839, Circulation Issue".
