Owner Comments:

Two commemorative $5 coins were issued in 1992. The first coin issued was for the 25th Olympic Games in Barcelona. The obverse of the coin features a male sprinter (Jesse Owens) racing down a track with the American flag in the background. The reverse features an image of a heraldic eagle with the iconic Olympic five-ring logo over its head. There were 27,732 uncirculated and 77,313 proof coins minted by the West Point Mint. These coins are somewhat easy to find in perfect MS70 and PF70 condition (more than 1,000 of each type graded as perfect).
