Owner Comments:
After a long hiatus of some 36 years beginning in 1971 the mint began production of a Dollar coin the same size as the previous Silver Dollars, but this time made in a copper-nickel clad, to honor former President Dwight Eisenhower. This example is a business strike graded MS67, with very attractive mostly copper orange toning, but with yellow, green, and blue highlights providing for exceptional eye appeal. Only 6 coins have graded higher than this one.
