Baha'u'llah reveals the Lawh-i-Baha in honor of Khatun Jan, a close friend of Tahirih; it is the first Tablet in which Baha'u'llah uses the term "people of Baha" to refer to His followers, who had become more distinct from the "people of the Bayan", the followers of the Bab, since Baha'u'llah's public proclamation of His mission in 1863.
