This Coin:

This coin is pure white with no toning, has clean deep mirror fields and some cameo (obv: pr+, rev: pr+). This coin stands out as extremely attractive and haze free, especially for a 1940. The fields are particularly deep and show a nice contrast to the frosted devices. It is a real treat when coins of this quality become available. This year seems to be particularly difficult to find with excellent eye-appeal but like with other things, patience and a little bit of good fortune help to find the right coin at the right time.
