The 1994 World Cup half dollar is the 9th half dollar minted in the "Modern Commemorative" era. The obverse of the 1994-D half dollar features a soccer player in action. The reverse of the coin features the official USA World Cup 1994 logo. There were 168,208 uncirculated coins minted. These half dollars are comprised of 92% copper and 8% nickel. The 1994-D half is a key coin in any collection of Modern Commemorative half dollars and are difficult to find in MS70 condition.
