A '64 STANDOUT!

The U.S. Mint produced almost 4 Million Proof sets in 1964 -- a record mintage for the last year in the Post-War Proof series. But even though the Mint saw an improvement in quality that year, there are still only 5406 of those 3.9 Million Nickels graded Proof 69. Just 125 specimens have been graded higher than this coin.
