2015 marked the 30th issue of the American Silver Eagle bullion coin. Sales went up nearly 7% this year, with some 47,000,000 coins sold. The U.S. mint in San Francisco did not produce any coins this year. The coins from San Francisco were usually of a lower quality than those from West Point, and therefore, the percentage of MS70's seen at NGC went up this year to 44%. (6/2016)
