Owner Comments:
Three commemorative dollars were produced in 1993. The third dollar was issued to commemorate the 250th Anniversary of President Thomas Jefferson's birth (dated 1993 but issued in 1994). The obverse of the coin features a profile view of Thomas Jefferson. The reverse of the coin features an image of Jefferson's home, Monticello. There were 266,927 uncirculated coins produced by the Philadelphia Mint, and 332,891 proof coins produced by the San Francisco Mint. The San Francisco Mint proof dollars are very difficult to find in perfect PF70 condition.
