Owner Comments:
In 1984 the U.S. Mint again presented a trio of silver dollars to commemorate the 1984 Summer Olympics in Los Angeles, California. The Philadelphia, Denver, and San Francisco Mints each produced a Robert Graham designed coin showing the entrance to the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum on the obverse and a bald eagle holding an olive branch on the reverse. These dollars are very easy to find in either raw or graded condition, but are very rare in a perfect MS70 condition -- especially the San Francisco produced coin. The Philadelphia Mint produced 217,954 uncirculated coins, and the Denver and San Francisco Mints each produced 116,675 uncirculated coins.
