A raw eBay purchase. NGC is very particular about assessing these coins as quite often part of the faulty letter is still visible, and it is increasingly likely that this " variety " will just be treated as a filled die with infill getting progressively more noticeable. In my opinion this is similar to the " onc " varieties which are likely to be the same thing happening to the "e" in "one" - I am sure someone is trying just to make money out of this! The coin is better than the pictures suggest, with bright proof-like fields ; were it not for the reverse spot, this could well have been a couple of grades higher.
