1879-CC Capped CC GSA SOFT PACK F 12 NGC
VAM-3 variety, Capped CC. A true rarity to find in a GSA soft pack. Considered to be among the scarcest of all Carson City silver dollars, only a few examples were placed into GSA soft packs, all of which are well circulated. This coin grades Fine 12, yet is a fully original example, with light gray surfaces and nothing but honest wear from circulation. The only example of this date with the Capped CC mintmark graded in a GSA Soft Pack and most likely unique, as a date it is surpassed by a single VF in the population report.
