Owner Comments:

Excellent Great Britain proof George VI shilling (Scottish crest reverse) with great luster and strong strike. Devices and mottoes on both sides have light cameo frost but not enough to merit CAMEO designation. Both sides are bathed in very light golden toning with multicolored pastel rainbow highlights. A few very light contact marks and scratches are present. Cost: $13.44 on 8/5/15 on eBay from Anatoly Spivak (tosik1963).

Composition: Copper-nickel. Weight: 5.6500 grams. Diameter: 23.5 mm. Edge Description: Reeded.
Series Identifier: KM#877. Mintage: 20,000. Obverse: George VI head left.
Reverse: Scottish crest (lion seated atop crown holding sword and scepter) divides date, shields flank.
NumisMaster Great Britain Coin Guide estimated value at time of purchase: Proof - $22.00.
