Owner Comments:

PCGS graded AU 55
Variety: V-2, Small O. Valentine states that the reverse die of his 1A and 2 varieties has cracks "at N of UNITED, first T, A and last S of STATES, and last A of AMERICA." This coin has cracks consistent with that description, except no crack at TA , and has another from the rim at K6 to the bow knot. Both dies have clash marks, and the reverse die shows evidence of rust inside the dentils. Blythe states that the V-1 (and V-1A) obverse has the pendant lined up between the 4 and second 1. This coin has the pendant over the right side of the upright of the 4. So I believe it to be a late die state of the V-2.

Luster: 2/3
